I’ve been out of the loop since several Friday’s ago. I’ve been sick, away, working, and processing the whole series of revelations (mainly my fever dream).

Now, I’m stuck at home for the weekend, while everyone else gets to go play. So, if you’re inclined, tell me a story in the comments. Or a joke. Or IM me (badmanbadplace@gmail.com). Or something. All work and no play makes Bad a dull boy.

    A story:

    There was a tourist in the city of New York.
    She stood there in awe taking in a tall beautiful building.
    The natives got pissy with her just standing there, holding up foot traffic.
    So they jostled and shoved her out of the way.
    Into traffic.
    And she died.

    The end.

    What? You didn’t say it had to be a good story. Or one with a happy ending! :P

    Your friend is right, all of your meetings with women happen at places involving alcohol. Interesting thing to consider.

    Here’s a story for you, and it’s even a true one.
    There was a girl once, who didn’t think anyone loved her. She had been abandoned a lot, and was terrified of it later. So she pretended that she wasn’t, and developed a nice barroom laugh that turned mens’ heads.
    Then she met a boy, who was supposed to be one more head that turned her way. Only, he wasn’t. He stayed with her when she fought her demons, and when her mother died. He stayed with her when she screamed and when she tried to push him away.
    One day, she finally figured out that he wasn’t going to leave, and she finally learned to trust him.

    I didn’t say it was a good story… but it is a true one.
