Cancelled my account there.  I really don’t like their privacy policy and I really don’t like their new “friends you may know” functionality.To all of you that made friends with me, I appreciate it.To those of you that thought of doing so but didn’t, here’s an opportunity to just email me instead.  It’s ok - I don’t bite.  Well, not in ways you won’t like, anyway.Â

I noticed! But Facebook has been very annoying lately, and I understand. Glad I found this blog though. Stalkerish? Sorry.
Sarah - please don’t think that I took this down because of any of my readers - I love you all. No, I took it down because I was concerned that the “friends you might know” feature might reveal my actual identity, and after I had that problem on Friendster with someone who would later out me (albeit obliquely) I just didn’t need the hassle. Facebook’s lovely and all, but it just has too many negative externalities.
